From semiconductors to intelligent systems, electronica 2026 highlights the technologies, partnerships and innovations powering tomorrow’s connected, electrified world

Under the theme Empowering the All Electric Society, electronica 2026 (November 10 to 13) will showcase the technologies and solutions driving the industry forward, from individual components and semiconductors to complex systems and innovative applications shaping the electric future.

The event will occupy all Munich fairground’s 18 halls, with SEMICON Europa running concurrently in two and a half halls. The layout has been streamlined, creating a clearer structure for visitors while reflecting the growing importance of semiconductors which has been expanded by an additional hall.

International participation is strong, with interest from companies in the US and Asia, alongside significant growth from European countries including France, Italy, Poland and the UK.

Electronica 2024 attracted over 3,480 exhibitors and over 80,000 visitors from around the world. Once again, electronica 2026 is set to bring together the people, technologies and ideas driving the global electronics industry, and to show how the sector is turning the vision of an All-Electric Society into reality.

The technologies shaping the future of electronics also take center stage in electronica 2026’s supporting program. Three overarching topics will drive discussions across the event: cyber resilience, artificial intelligence and energy efficiency. Experts from around the world will examine these key issues from the perspective of the application areas that matter most to the industry, offering practical insights and fresh perspectives.

Forums at the electronica Stages in the exhibition halls will provide a platform for international experts to share their knowledge and discuss current developments across a broad range of applications. A new highlight in 2026 is edge lab LIVE, a hands-on special showcase dedicated to edge computing, featuring interactive workshops and presentations.

The program will also include award ceremonies, pitch sessions and a range of career initiatives. The trade fair will get off to a high-profile start on Monday evening, ahead of the official opening, with an Executive Event featuring a CEO Roundtable and leading industry speakers. On the same day, the electronica Automotive Conference will bring together experts to explore the latest trends and challenges shaping the automotive value chain.
