While InoBat will build on its established European presence and planned expansion into North America, Palmer Energy Technology Ltd (PETL) will leverage its strong position in the UK and Ireland. Both companies will address new markets together.
UK-based Palmer Energy Technology Ltd (PETL) and European battery manufacturer InoBat have signed a collaboration agreement to supply BESS across Europe. The agreement covers three areas: It sets out which markets each company will lead; provides for the supply of BESS units between the two companies; and gives InoBat access to PETL’s battery management technology, according to a media release.
While InoBat will build on its established European presence and planned expansion into North America, PETL will leverage its strong position in the UK and Ireland. Both companies will address new markets together.
In 2026, PETL becomes a supplier for InoBat, while from 2027 PETL secures the option to take BESS supply from InoBat through its brand BESSMONT, manufactured in Slovakia. In 2025 PETL acquired Brill Power, which is known for its battery management system (BMS) and energy management system (EMS).
Through its BESSMONT platform InoBat has delivered or contracted 875MWh of utility-scale battery energy storage capacity, with a strong pipeline increasingly aimed at data center and AI power. InoBat is also developing next-generation sodium-ion technology with partners, the media release said.
“European customers need stable western based BESS supply chain with cyber security and high-level quality of product and services,” Marián Boček, Co-founder and Chief Executive of InoBat, said. “Partnership between PETL and InoBat builds a strong foundation to address energy challenges and prepare Europe for AI-driven future.”
“PETL brings patented battery management technology and BESS units that are available now,” Dr Andy Palmer CMG, CEO and Co-Founder of Palmer Energy Technology, said. “InoBat brings a strong position in Europe and North America and new manufacturing capacity from 2027. Customers in Europe get a European product with their data stored in Europe.”
