- 每个指定料号被分配三种生命周期期限之一:Micro(1–3 年,授权库存加近期规划)、Mid(4–6 年,战略库存加授权制造准备,在获授权情况下)、Max(7 年以上,设计锚点系列的长期连续性,包括在获授权情况下的授权制造)。

- Micro(一至三年):授权库存加近期规划

For mission-critical designs, TLS360 delivers authorized lifecycle assurance, reducing obsolescence uncertainty through governed supply, planning and licensed manufacturing
For engineers working on long-lifecycle systems obsolescence is a recurring, costly certainty. Rochester Electronics is combating obsolescence with Through Life Support 360 (TLS360™), the company’s program-level lifecycle assurance offering for select mission-critical semiconductor product families.
What is TLS360? Standard semiconductor lifecycles are built around the original manufacturer’s roadmap. Once a part reaches end-of-life milestones, it typically transitions to NRND (not recommended for new designs), then to formal discontinuation—regardless of how long the systems that rely on it are expected to remain in service.
TLS360 extends active status on designated parts beyond the point when they would normally begin transitioning. Because Rochester Electronics operates as a 100 per cent authorized distributor and licensed semiconductor manufacturer for the families it covers, the company can provide lifecycle assurance that supports risk-free, long-term production and a continued governed supply within the same fully authorized framework under which the part was originally shipped. For design teams, that translates into a practical benefit: existing designs can remain in production longer without forced redesigns or reactive, last-minute sourcing.
The program currently covers select design-anchor product families from manufacturers including Texas Instruments, Analog Devices, NXP and Infineon, with additional coverage added as authorized programs expand.
Every designated part number is assigned one of three lifecycle horizons:
- Micro (one to three years): Authorized inventory with near-term planning
- Mid (four to six years): Strategic inventory plus licensed manufacturing readiness (where authorized)
- Max (seven plus years): Long-range continuity for design-anchor families, including licensed manufacturing (where authorized)
TLS360 gives each part a defined horizon that can be built directly into a program’s planning cycle. Horizons are reviewed on an ongoing basis through our formal governance process as new supplier data, inventory positions and manufacturing status come in.
Those lifecycle horizon determinations are informed in part by agentic AI systems that analyze authorized supplier data, historical lifecycle patterns, inventory signals and change-notification inputs. This is treated as augmentation rather than automation of decision-making. The AI-assisted analysis informs the governance process, but final lifecycle classifications remain subject to human review.
A common failure mode of proprietary lifecycle programs is that they create their own vocabulary—forcing customers to translate between what the manufacturer says and what the distributor says. TLS360 deliberately avoids this by aligning with JEDEC-defined lifecycle terminology and change-notification conventions, including standard treatment of PCNs (product change notices), PDNs (product discontinuation notices) and the Active/NRND/EOL progression engineers already use.
Rochester is explicit that formal PCNs and PDNs remain the authoritative lifecycle communications; TLS360’s horizons are guidance for planning purposes and are meant to be incorporated into a customer’s own risk management rather than treated as a substitute for those formal notices.
For programs measured in decades rather than product cycles, the value proposition is straightforward: part-number integrity. No substitutions or forced redesigns and consistent lifecycle treatment across related derivatives and revisions of a given device—with licensed manufacturing continuity where designated, so supply doesn’t depend solely on available inventory.
