Qualcomm's Snapdragon X Elite platform is a PC processor designed for high computing performance and power efficiency. The series follows Qualcomm's earlier Snapdragon 8cx compute platform and is based on the company's proprietary Oryon central processing unit (CPU) core architecture. Qualcomm launched Snapdragon X Elite, the first X-series product, in 2024. It introduced Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme and X2 Elite last year, followed by X2 Plus at CES 2026 earlier this year.
The Snapdragon X2 series delivers 39% higher single-core CPU performance and 50% higher multi-core performance than the previous generation. Graphics processing unit (GPU) performance is 2.3 times higher, while its neural processing unit (NPU) delivers 80 trillion operations per second (TOPS). This enables faster and more efficient on-device AI processing.
Gemini Intelligence is Google's AI agent system combining premium hardware and software. It is designed to understand a user's context and patterns and provide a personalized computing experience. The technologies are intended to provide desktop-class gaming experiences on mobile devices by enabling smoother gameplay and higher graphics quality. Features include high frame rates, Game Quick Touch, True 10-bit high dynamic range (HDR), Game Color Plus, Adreno HDR Fast Blend and variable rate shading.
The laptop also provides all-day battery life, though actual battery life may vary depending on the device, settings and usage conditions.
